If you need a small projector but always thought the idea impractical. Samsung decided to bring the the Galaxy Beam Brazil, the son of a marriage between an Android phone and a projector.
Running Android 2.3, this device with an intermediate configuration has as main focus the projector on its upper face. To accommodate the lens and lamp, the unit was a little thicker than the Galaxy family in general, but nothing that interferes with the user. They are 12.4 x 6.4 x 1.2 cm.
The plastic casing is finished similar to devices used in Ace and Galaxy S II Lite. The removable cover allows you to extract the battery, but access to the SIM card and microSD slots is done by the sides.
To run the system Beam brings a dual core processor at 1 GHz, 768 MB RAM, 8 GB of storage and 4-inch screen (480 by 800 pixels). The device weighs 145 g.
The price of the unit in Brazil has not been disclosed.
