Samsung today introduced the long awaited in Sao Paulo Galaxy S III. We managed to get their hands on one device and test its functionality.
The first impression of the device is quite positive. The Super AMOLED screen of 4.8 inches is huge, has excellent brightness and response to touch is very good, even at the edges. Even with the size, the device does not seem so exaggerated proportions. Operate it with one hand is a fairly simple and comfortable. The weight of 133 grams contributes to the "good catch" smartphone.
The 8 megapixel camera, which according to Samsung is the best response time in image registration, in practice was very similar to what already exists in the Galaxy X. The video recording seems to be a strong point. Even in an environment with low light, the initial result was interesting. See the video below.
The Exynos 4212 chipset, with a Cortex A9 processor quad-core 1.4 GHz, the Galaxy S III made a very fast machine. Android 4 ran without any problems. The new TouchWiz interface is elegant, with well-crafted icons and animations.

We were unable to test the features of face recognition, but tried to disable the sensors music putting the screen facing down. The S-Voice feature, which works like Siri, Apple's already not available at launch, but a Portuguese version will still be produced. In Quadrant benchmark, the S III sank 5076 points.
In Brazil, Samsung will market the 16 GB models in Graphite color (blue on the outside) and white, priced at 2099 dollars. To address the lack of space, according to a Dropbox gives the owner of the Galaxy S III 48 GB of space on the service. The device also has a microSD card slot up to 64 GB.
